‘Mathematical microscope’ could diagnose Alzheimer’s disease early

Does it ever happen that you have something in mind to tell a friend, but a few minutes later, you forget what it was? Experts say this could be a sign of a failing working memory, which is the ability to remember information for a short period while you go about doing other things. The working memory deficit is often observed in patients diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and dementia and also is visible in mild cognitive impairment (MCI). Now, scientists have been making efforts to understand the mechanisms behind this.
