Ashwagandha Boosts Memory in People With MCI

A new clinical trial published in the Journal of Psychopharmacology suggests that an extract of ashwagandha standardized with a compound called Sominone may improve memory and overall cognitive performance in people with mild cognitive impairment (MCI). Participants who took the supplement daily for two months showed significant improvements in several domains of memory and spatial reasoning compared to those who took a placebo. The supplement was also well-tolerated, with no significant side effects reported.
