Remotely delivered music therapy may have a positive impact on neuropsychiatric symptoms and improve overall quality of life for older adults with amnestic mild cognitive impairment (MCI) and their caregivers, according to a poster. The results, according to Sterner and colleagues, indicate this form of therapy may be able to boost emotional connections in those with MCI, reduce anxiety, and improve quality of life for caregivers.
