An expert in brain health says a simple daily habit could prevent cognitive decline, and it takes just six minutes. Dr Clint Steele claims reading for six minutes per day could slash your risk of dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s, and more. “Reading six minutes a day actually lowers your risk of dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's disease and more,” said Dr Steele. “The reason for that is because reading helps build something called cognitive reserve, this is the ability for your brain to adapt.
