By Jessica Stokes The day I found the box of letters in my parent’s garage that my mother had written to my grandmother, I found a way into the next phase of our journey through Alzheimer’s. That was the day I found my mother’s voice. We were 8 years into it. I had watched my mother shed her skin and be re-born several times. My mom was my best friend in my 20s and 30s. And I was devastated as we kept losing her.
