Dennis Frost felt relieved when he finally received his diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia. Rare Disease Day (28 February) is the globally coordinated movement on rare diseases. An important part of Rare Disease Day is creating awareness about rare diseases, such as Frontotemporal dementia. Dementia advocate, as he recalls, feeling relieved when he finally received his diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia nine years ago, aged 59 years.
