I first noticed that Mum was acting out of character around 10 years ago. She used to go to church every week and was always helping out in her local community. All of a sudden, she started being rude to people. The GP at the time said it was because of a vitamin B12 deficiency. Mum deteriorated again over lockdown, and she was eventually diagnosed with mixed dementia in 2021.
